The service

LMK PLZ is a group scheduling tool: organizers create date polls, guests answer through a shared link, and the group lands on a date. Creating polls requires a free account; answering does not. Core polling is free. Plus is an optional organizer subscription for themes; subscription details are explained on our pricing page.

Subscriptions and payments

LMK PLZ Plus costs $2.99 USD per organizer per month and renews automatically each month until canceled. It covers applying and customizing themes across that organizer’s polls. Guests participate free. SMS is not included. Any applicable taxes are shown before payment. There is no trial or automatic conversion from a free account.

Subscriptions are purchased for the signed-in organizer account through Stripe-hosted checkout. You authorize the recurring charge when you complete checkout. Stripe processes your payment details; LMK PLZ does not store full card numbers or card security codes.

Cancellation and failed payments

Cancel through Manage billing at any time to stop renewal. Your paid theme access continues through the paid period. An unpaid renewal does not extend access. Themes already published remain visible, and you may edit ordinary event details or return to the standard appearance. Applying or changing a theme, including on a copied poll, requires active Plus access.

Deleting or finishing a poll does not cancel Plus. For account closure, contact hello@lmkplz.com so we can close the account and resolve recurring billing together.

Refunds

Request a refund of the first subscription payment within 7 days by emailing hello@lmkplz.com. A full first-payment refund ends renewal and new paid theme access; already-published themes remain. Later payments are generally non-refundable, except for duplicate or erroneous charges or as required by law. Cancellation alone does not request a refund. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

Existing users and changes

Existing free accounts are not automatically enrolled in Plus or charged. Before paid theme enforcement begins, we will announce the transition on the pricing page and in the app. Published themes are preserved. Core polling remains free. Price changes will be communicated before they affect a renewal, with an opportunity to cancel.

Your content is yours

The polls you create and the answers you give belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to run the service — showing the poll to people you share it with, tallying answers, and sending the emails and optional text updates described in the product. We don't sell your content or use it for advertising.

What we expect from you

• Use LMK PLZ for real scheduling with people who want to hear from you — not for spam, harassment, or anything unlawful.
• Only send invitations and reminders to people you actually know.
• Keep your admin link private, and share guest links only with the people you're inviting.
• Don't try to break, probe, or overload the service, or access events that aren't yours.

We can remove content or suspend access that violates these expectations.

Link-based access

Poll links are unlisted but not secret-guarded: anyone who ends up with a link can open what that link allows. Details and limits are described on the security page.

Event lifetime

Events are temporary by design: polls close themselves 30 days after their last offered date, and poll data is deleted about 30 days after the event wraps up. Don't use LMK PLZ as permanent storage for anything you need to keep. Account, billing, SMS consent and opt-out records are kept separately as described in our Privacy Policy.

LMK PLZ SMS Terms

SMS delivery is coming soon. The following terms describe LMK PLZ Event Updates when text messaging launches. Live sending remains off while the service is being verified. General website consent does not enroll you in an event.

Program and enrollment

LMK PLZ Event Updates will send automated reminders before event-poll answers close and notifications of the final date selected by the organizer. These are updates about events you participate in, not advertising or promotional messages.

To sign up when available, open your event invitation, save your answer, enter your own US mobile number, select the SMS consent checkbox, and verify the code sent to that phone. See how event SMS signup works. The checkbox is unchecked by default. SMS consent is optional and is not required to make a purchase or use LMK PLZ. An organizer cannot provide SMS consent for another person.

Organizer SMS billing when available

Automated event SMS will require an active Plus subscription and separate authorization for blocks of 5 events. Actual SMS usage will be billed at calendar month-end at cost plus a 50% markup, separately from the Plus renewal date. It is not prepaid credit and does not wait for all five events to finish. No SMS purchases or usage charges are available today. Before any chargeable SMS activity, the organizer must accept the usage-billing terms and select a monthly subtotal limit shared across all their events. Applicable tax is additional. Costs include actual attributable Twilio message/carrier and phone-verification charges, not payment processing, common number/campaign fees, hosting, support, STOP/HELP, or platform mistakes. Unused slots carry forward and have no prepaid value. One slot is used when the first event update is accepted by the provider; verification may incur usage without using a slot. There is no automatic next-block authorization. Usage is grouped by calendar month in America/New_York, reconciled before billing, multiplied by 1.5 and rounded once to cents. Positive SMS balances below $0.50 carry forward until the accumulated balance reaches $0.50. If the balance remains below $0.50 after six calendar months, counting the first unbilled usage month as month one, we waive the remaining cents. Each calendar month is rounded once before combining carried balances, and SMS billing remains separate from Plus renewals. This policy also applies after cancellation or account closure. Pending provider prices can delay the final statement. Late corrections are labeled on later statements. A negative net correction creates a Stripe account credit, which may offset a later SMS or Plus invoice; contact hello@lmkplz.com for refund help. We do not charge beyond the authorized subtotal limit because an estimate was too low. Cancellation or account closure stops new SMS but does not accelerate or erase authorized month-end charges. An unpaid SMS invoice pauses new SMS without removing separately paid theme access. Purchasing SMS never establishes a recipient’s consent.

Frequency and charges

This is a recurring messaging program. Message frequency varies with event activity, usually one reminder and one result per event. Phone verification, enrollment confirmations, changes to the final date, and replies to HELP or STOP may add messages. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile provider can explain any charges under your plan.

Cancel or rejoin

Reply STOP to the number sending your LMK PLZ texts to cancel at any time. We will send an opt-out confirmation, then stop further program messages to your number. To rejoin after STOP, reply START to unblock the number, then choose the event and verify your consent again. START alone does not restore previous event subscriptions. You can also stop just one event from its confirmation page. STOP and HELP remain available after the organizer’s subscription ends or spending is paused. Before messaging launches, you can withdraw recorded consent by emailing hello@lmkplz.com.

Delivery and privacy

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery also depends on your device, coverage, and service availability.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use mobile numbers and SMS consent records. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

What we can't promise

LMK PLZ is provided as-is, without warranties. We work to keep it fast, correct, and available, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that every defect is caught. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us for it.

Changes

If these terms change, the update appears on this page with a new review date. Significant changes to how the product works or what it costs are announced before they take effect.
